Summary
The British Cervical Spine Society (BCSS) supports the study and treatment of all conditions affecting the cervical spine. Its membership includes Neurosurgeons and Spinal Orthopædic Surgeons throughout the United Kingdom who share an interest in the management of disorders affecting the cervical spine.
It acts to ensure the highest possible standards of care for individuals with cervical spine disorders. The Society meets once a year to promote research and development in the field of conditions affecting the cervical spine. It seeks to educate the public and all medical practitioners, including its own members, in methods of recognition, prevention, treatment and long-term management of cervical spine disorders. Any funds it raises are used to promote its key objectives and to offer financial assistance to others engaged in research related to diseases of the cervical spine.
